How did you get your start in this industry?
From the age of 16, I worked in the beauty hall of a large UK retailer. I absolutely loved the experience—helping customers, learning about skin care and fragrance, and discovering firsthand the magic of our industry. That retail experience really grounds you in empathy and understanding. After graduating from university, I began my career in educational theatre. While I loved the creative side, I knew I wanted to build a future in a business that combined creativity, passion, and products I personally loved. So I took a leap and joined The Estée Lauder Companies in 2001.

Over the years, what has been your proudest moment at ELC?
There have been so many, but the standout moment was several years into my time here when I was working in retail marketing.
I was on holiday and had a phone call: it was the entire UK Aveda team calling me from a brand conference to tell me that I’d won the Employee of the Year Award. That recognition showed me how valued I was and reminded me of the impact of my work.

How would you describe the culture at ELC to someone outside the company?
I honestly think the culture at ELC is second to none. It’s values-driven, it’s supportive, and it’s full of opportunity. Here, creativity and business excellence go hand in hand.

When you look back at your career, what are you most grateful for?
I’m grateful for the extraordinary opportunities ELC has given me—to travel the globe, meet incredible people, and represent Aveda on platforms including TV. But above all, I’m grateful for the chance to grow, both personally and professionally, within a company that has supported me every step of the way.

What makes you excited about the future of ELC, even after all these years?
I’m excited about how ELC continues to lead with innovation—whether that’s through sustainability, digital experiences, or new product breakthroughs. I can’t wait to see how our brands evolve to inspire the next generation of consumers, and to continue being part of a company that’s shaping the future of beauty.

What’s your favourite ELC product?
That’s an impossible question! I honestly couldn’t live without my Aveda Botanical Repair haircare, Bumble and bumble styling, my beloved Le Labo & TOM FORD Beauty fragrances (Thé Noir 29 and Neroli Portofino are 2 favourites), and my Estée Lauder skin care staples (ReNutriv and, of course, Advanced Night Repair). And I always keep a few key makeup pieces from across our brands in my bag. The truth is, with such an incredible portfolio, there’s a product for every mood, moment, and occasion.
