What first brought you to ELC and what was your first role with the company?
My journey with ELC started 15 years ago on the Bobbi Brown counter at Selfridges—a dream for someone obsessed with beauty and artistry! I originally trained in musical theatre and loved the drama of stage makeup, so working in beauty felt like a natural fit while I was auditioning. Eventually, I swapped my dancing shoes for makeup brushes and landed an internship with M·A·C’s Sales team in Head Office. That experience was a game-changer; it opened doors and taught me so much about the corporate office world. From there, I joined Jo Malone London in Sales & Education, then quickly moved into a Brand PA role for a senior leader, an incredible woman and mentor who championed my move into Visual Merchandising.
What do you think has kept you here for so many years?
Honestly? I’m that annoying friend who can genuinely say, “I love my job!” Every day I get to be creative, passionate, and kind. It’s the perfect mix.
How would you describe the culture at ELC to someone outside the company?
It’s warm, collaborative, and inspiring. People here give their all and lift each other up along the way. ELC is also committed to giving everyone a voice. From townhalls to feedback sessions, inclusivity and collaboration are at the heart of the company.
When you look back at your career, what are you most grateful for?
The chance to craft beautiful storytelling for successful launches and the lifelong friendships I’ve made along the way.
What makes you excited about the future of ELC, even after all these years?
The beauty industry never stands still, and that’s what excites me. From pioneering sustainable materials in Visual Merchandising to discovering bold, disruptive ways to stand out in a competitive market, innovation is always at the heart of what we do.
Last one: What's your favourite ELC product?
That’s a tough question! But I’d have to say the Jo Malone London Orange Bitters candle. It’s chic, cosy, and the ultimate gift.
