What is your title and how long have you been with The Estée Lauder Companies?
I am a Senior Manager, Customer Supply Chain & Execution Planning, UK&I, and I have been with the company since 2013.
What inspired you to work for ELC?
I originally came to work for ELC on a 6-month maternity cover, during the early period of my career, and I was looking to gain experience within the Supply Chain sector. I was excited to come and work for a large corporation and to experience the differences compared to a small business where I previously worked.
How would you describe your current job to someone outside the beauty industry?
We manage inventory to ensure that retailer orders can be fulfilled on time and in full, including for new launch and holiday products.
What excites you about coming to work every day?
Every day can bring something you were not expecting; working in a fast-paced environment means that scenarios are ever-changing and challenge us to be agile in our ways of working. I also love the people that I get to work with. The team spirit within the Supply Chain team is something we are all very proud of.
What opportunities for career development have you been offered at ELC?
During my time with ELC, I have had the opportunity to work across different roles and with a variety of brands. From joining as an Assistant Demand Planner, I worked within Demand Planning for 4 years before moving into Supply Planning while advancing my career.
What is your ELC must-have product?
