Operational Excellence Engineer at our UK-based manufacturing facility
What is your title and how long have you been with The Estée Lauder Companies?
I am an Operational Excellence Engineer at our UK-based manufacturing facility. I joined ELC as an operator on the production lines; I have been with the company since 2018, and I am still learning every day.
What excites you about coming to work at The Estée Lauder Companies?
I love that there’s something different every day, and I feel I have so many roles, from detective to scientist to chemist. I also love that the company invests in its employees and gives them the support to develop.
What does a typical working day look like for you?
I start with updating and communicating the plant overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) report, then I review assembly performance data and analyse it for improvements or changes in trends. A big part of my day can be spent on identifying and optimising current processes, digital automation, and coaching in problem solving.
Why is ELC a good option for women in STEM?
ELC has a strong culture of supporting women and encourages growth.
What is your must-have ELC product?
TOM FORD BEAUTY’s Costa Azzurra Cologne.
