During the 2024 homecoming season for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), ELC was proud to celebrate the impact and innovation of HBCU alumni across the nation, including those who lead from every chair at ELC.
The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), in partnership with Estée Lauder, Origins, and Jo Malone London, crafted an immersive Homecoming experience for students at Florida A&M University (FAMU) last month with unique brand experiences, professional development opportunities, and networking.
Themed “The Beauty of Homecoming,” the weeklong celebration at FAMU highlighted ELC’s commitment to beauty, wellness, and career development through a series of engaging events and meaningful professional and personal growth opportunities.

Advancing Professional Development Through Thought Leadership and Strategy
To begin the week, ELC’s North America ID&E team hosted a "Pathways to Success" panel discussion for students in FAMU’s Business School and School of Journalism. The panel highlighted the range of careers within ELC.
Key speakers included Tiffani Davis, Executive Director, Finance & Strategy, Global Brand Cluster, ELC; Natasha Noel, Director, North America ID&E, ELC; Diron Carr, Field Executive, ELC Portfolio; Tamara Smith, Clinique Field Executive, ULTA; and Andrene Williams, Clinique Field Executive, ULTA.

Jo Malone London x Mental Health Matters Floral Arrangement Masterclass
Jo Malone London partnered with Brown Girl en Bloom, an alumni-founded business committed to kindness and education, to host a floral arrangement masterclass at FAMU’s Beauty and Wellness Expo. Led by florist Danyelle Freedman and event stylist Lartarsha Bradwell, this masterclass allowed students to explore the calming influence of floral design. Attendees created custom FAMU-styled arrangements and received a surprise scented gift, courtesy of Jo Malone London.

Origins Youthtopia Activation
Origins brought its newest innovation, Youthtopia, and other best-sellers from the brand to FAMU students and friends at the Beauty and Wellness Expo. This activation focused on introducing the brand, its unique Active Natural skin care, and commitment to sustainability to the students. Attendees were provided with curated sampling kits, refreshing apple sodas, a quick and relaxing Peace of Mind ritual, and a chance to win full-size Youthtopia products.

As a grand finale to the week’s festivities, Estée Lauder hosted a 2-day “Game Day, Your Way” activation on campus, where students could explore beauty in a fun, interactive setting. Highlights included foundation shade matching, friendly competitions, a personalized photobooth, and the chance to take home exclusive Estée Lauder products.
