As part of his ongoing efforts to share his deep appreciation for the employees of The Estée Lauder Companies, Executive Chairman, William P. Lauder visited the House of Bumble in New York city to host his Art and Science of Gratitude Town Hall for Bumble and bumble employees. The Town Hall series, which has been hosted across many of the company’s brands, regions, and functions provides research-backed insights to support an attitude of gratitude at ELC and beyond. The moment of celebration and connection was opened by Executive Group President Jane Hertzmark Hudis and hosted by Corey Reese, Senior Vice President, Global General Manager, Bumble and bumble.
“It was incredible to hear firsthand from William his lessons on gratitude and leadership. Our global brand team left feeling deeply inspired to embrace the practice of gratitude at Bumble and bumble and beyond,” said Corey.
While at Bumble and bumble, William shared personal stories of learning the importance of showing appreciation for colleagues, consumers, and stakeholders. He also spoke about the value of leading from every chair to bring out the best of every employee and team.
During his visit, William also attended a leadership team meeting and toured the Bb.Flaship Downtown Salon, where he was able to share his gratitude for the Bb.Stylists who deliver services to guests.
During the Bb leadership team meeting, the team shared recent brand wins and updates, including the launch of Bb.Seaweed, a nutrient-infused routine for a healthy, balanced scalp and luminous hair with effortless, air-dried styling. Since its launch in June, the Bb.Seaweed line is already seeing strong initial ratings and reviews, garnering 4.7 stars or above from consumer reviews on the Bumble and bumble website. The brand also recently announced the inaugural recipients of its hair trade scholarship with Point Foundation; Four LGBTQIA+ individuals who are pursuing a professional career in the hair industry will receive the inaugural award.
