ELC Named Pinnacle Inclusion Index Company by Seramount

The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has been recognized for superior achievement in creating an inclusive workplace.

Press Release

ELC was among the 29 organizations recognized for superior achievement as a Pinnacle Inclusion Index Company, having received a score of over 80 percent. This year, 160 organizations applied to participate in the 6th annual Seramount Inclusion Index, which provides organizations with the metrics needed to understand trends and opportunities in demographic representation, creates a road map to drive internal change, and identifies diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) solutions to close any gaps. Application results reveal opportunities for all organizations to target their diversity and inclusion efforts for greater effectiveness.

“We are immensely proud to have been recognized at the Pinnacle level in the 2024 Seramount Inclusion Index. This honor underscores our unwavering commitment to cultivating and enhancing an inclusive environment for all our colleagues. It stands as a powerful testament to our continuous efforts in inclusion, diversity, and equity, reaffirming our belief that our diverse global workforce is one of our most valuable strengths,” said Marilu Marshall, Senior Vice President, Executive Management and Global Chief Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Officer, ELC.

Organizations provided data and were measured in 3 key areas: best practices in the recruitment, retention, and advancement of people from underrepresented groups, including women, racial/ethnic groups, people with disabilities, and LGBTQiA+ people; inclusive company culture; and demographic diversity.

“This achievement reflects our determination to create an environment where all employees have the opportunity to thrive at work,” said Nicole Monson, Senior Vice President, Equity and Engagement, ELC. “Because representation in leadership, access to professional development, and inclusion in community play such an important role in how our employees experience the workplace, we are committed to prioritizing these areas in our initiatives and building on the meaningful progress and impact we have made.”
