“Sandra is an extraordinary leader, brand builder and mentor whose impact on The Estée Lauder Companies will be felt for years to come,” said Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer. “Across all her roles — and especially as the Global Brand President of La Mer — Sandra has combined deep consumer understanding, commercial excellence and an unwavering commitment to brand equity. Under her leadership, she dramatically scaled the La Mer business, driving exceptional growth while always remaining true to its distinctive heritage. Just as importantly, Sandra has inspired and developed countless leaders and strengthened the people and teams around her. She has brought generosity, warmth and humanity to every relationship, alongside an uncompromising commitment to excellence. I am deeply grateful for her partnership, counsel and friendship, and we will miss her tremendously.”

Throughout her career, Sandra held leadership roles across some of the company’s most influential brands and markets. She began by leading M·A·C across Asia Pacific and internationally, helping to expand the brand into new markets and establish it as one of the world’s most desirable and influential beauty brands. She later led Bobbi Brown International, helping to advance the brand’s presence and international growth.

In 2009, she joined La Mer as Senior Vice President and General Manager. Over the course of her leadership, the brand expanded its global presence and product universe beyond Crème de la Mer, with new franchises including Genaissance de la Mer, while strengthening its treatment and efficacy credentials. She also elevated the consumer experience through new services, treatments and personalized offerings, and played an important role in driving La Mer’s growth in China and other key markets across Asia.

In February 2025, she was named Global Brand President, La Mer and Skin Care Brands, overseeing La Mer, Clinique, Origins, Dr. Jart+, Darphin Paris and Lab Series, as well as the company’s Skin Care category strategy. Across these responsibilities, she was known as a thoughtful and highly engaged leader who brought teams together around a clear ambition, encouraged open dialogue, and consistently made time to share her perspective and support others. In addition to her contributions as a visionary brand builder, Sandra has been a committed champion of inclusion and belonging. She was a founding member and original executive co-sponsor of the company’s Asian Affinity Group, helping to build community, amplify Asian voices and foster greater understanding across the organization.

Sandra will remain in her current role through December 31, 2026, to support a smooth transition, and a successor will be announced shortly.
