The Estée Lauder Companies Sets New Industry Standard In Skin Longevity With New Clinical Results For Re-Nutriv And Groundbreaking Visible Age-Assessment Model

Two peer-reviewed publications in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology validate Re-Nutriv’s sirtuin-targeting formulations and establish a new benchmark for measuring visible age across diverse skin tones.

Press Release

New York, NY – April 20, 2026 – The Estée Lauder Companies today announced the publication of two peer-reviewed manuscripts in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology (JCAD), marking a significant milestone in the company’s leadership in skin longevity science and high-performance product innovation. Together, the publications demonstrate both a major clinical breakthrough for Estée Lauder’s Re-Nutriv Ultimate Diamond collection and a new expert-validated method for quantifying visible age, strengthening the company’s ability to bring forward transformative skincare with proven results.

In a 12-week multi-ethnic clinical study1, a three-product Re-Nutriv regimen, comprised of Ultimate Diamond Transformative Brilliance Serum, Transformative Brilliance Soft Crème, and Age Reversal Eye Crème, produced a statistically significant reduction in calculated perceived age. Powered by the flagship brand’s patented SIRTIVITY-LP™ technology, the regimen improved key youth markers to deliver visible age reversal. These findings underscore Estée Lauder’s leadership in longevity skin science to deliver a years-younger look with high-touch, sensorial formulas.

The Re-Nutriv results were evaluated using a breakthrough expert-verified clinical model recently published in JCAD, titled Development of a Novel Facial Age Assessment Model in a Multiethnic Population for Evaluation of Topical Anti-Aging Product2. Created by The Estée Lauder Companies’ scientists to address the lack of an aligned standard for clinically measuring perceived age, the model was developed using a diverse cohort of more than 2,800 women across multiple ethnicities, skin tones, and age groups.

By capturing how consumer-perceivable facial attributes evolve across six decades of life, this model establishes a rigorous and inclusive measurement framework and provides a robust scientific foundation for evaluating visible age-reversal performance.

“These peer-reviewed publications demonstrate our leadership in skin longevity and clinical science, reflecting our ongoing commitment to advance the industry’s understanding of the mechanisms that help skin stay healthy and resilient over time,” said Claude Saliou, Senior Vice President, Advanced Technologies and Global Consumer and Clinical Sciences, The Estée Lauder Companies. “We continue to elevate the industry standard for scientific credentialing, developing rigorous clinical methods that are backed by leading experts, so that consumers can trust the results demonstrating our product innovations.”

In partnership with seven leading dermatologists, the Estée Lauder brand convened a Longevity Science Advisory Board to review breakthrough scientific data and novel clinical findings, resulting in the co-authoring of multiple scientific publications. The age-reversal findings and the new assessment method reflect Estée Lauder’s deep commitment to longevity skin science and the future of skin aging.

With 80 years of scientific authority and more than 17 years of dedicated research on skin longevity science, The Estée Lauder Companies continues to transform the industry’s understanding of how skin can stay healthy, vital, and radiant for life. From discovering skin’s circadian rhythm to pioneering sirtuin and cellular energy research, the company’s Global Research & Innovation teams are leveraging breakthrough science to develop the next generation of skin care solutions for consumers around the world.
