Executive Officers

Roberto Canevari

Roberto Canevari was named Executive Vice President, Global Supply Chain, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., in 2021. In this role, Mr. Canevari oversees the company’s Global Supply Chain operations, including end-to-end procurement, manufacturing, planning, quality assurance and logistics for the company’s diverse brand portfolio across all channels and geographies.

Mr. Canevari, a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, is a highly respected and talented supply chain expert who has successfully led and transformed the end-to-end supply chain organizations of several global, luxury, and brand-led companies. In addition to being a highly experienced and innovative expert in his field, Mr. Canevari has a passion for driving an organization’s culture and values. He is a collaborative and inspirational leader, with a unique ability to connect the dots across brands, functions and regions to drive meaningful transformation across the value chain.

Mr. Canevari is responsible for overseeing the company's integrated, agile and demand-driven Global Supply Chain. He oversees the development and Implementation of innovative strategies and solutions that meet and exceed the demands of the company's global consumers, while partnering closely with Internal and external stakeholders to leverage emerging trends, drive innovation and continuously improve processes. He partners closely with the Global R&D organization to strengthen the company's value chain and consistently maximize total quality and value. In addition, building on the company’s long-term, outstanding relationships with global suppliers, he strengthens and strategically evolves partnership models, prioritizing safety, sustainability and responsible sourcing to continue to create luxurious beauty products.

Prior to joining The Estée Lauder Companies, Mr. Canevari served as Executive Vice President of Supply Chain, Europe at Unilever PLC. During his tenure, he oversaw end-to-end supply chain operations for the company’s European business and was responsible for a team of more than 10,000 employees and 44 factories with production across the food, home and personal care categories. Prior to his time with Unilever, Mr. Canevari served in several executive supply chain roles of increasing responsibility at companies such Burberry Group PLC, Carrefour SA, Nestlé Water and Reckitt Benckiser PLC.

John Demsey

John Demsey is Executive Group President, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., a position he has held since January 2016. In this role, he oversees a wide portfolio of brands, including M·A·C, Clinique, BECCA, Too Faced, Smashbox, GLAMGLOW and TOM FORD BEAUTY. In addition to his brand portfolio, Mr. Demsey leads the company’s enterprise-wide Creative Organization, and oversees the Creative Center of Excellence, focused on the ongoing advancement of creative capabilities and talent across the company. Prior to serving as Executive Group President, Mr. Demsey served as Group President, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., a position he held since 2006.

Mr. Demsey is a creative visionary, strategic thinker and accomplished brand builder. Throughout his career he has shown a unique ability to establish a brand’s authority, keep it fresh and respect its heritage. By continually developing innovative products, cultivating new markets and establishing an unprecedented link between beauty, fashion, entertainment, celebrity and pop culture, the brands he has led have enjoyed unparalleled growth and expansion.

Mr. Demsey joined The Estée Lauder Companies in 1991 as Vice President, Sales, for the Estée Lauder brand in its West Coast region, and was later promoted to SVP of Sales for the brand in 1993. He held several positions with the brand in the New York headquarters and in the field, and was instrumental in expanding its business and increasing market share.

In 1998, Mr. Demsey was appointed President of M·A·C. Mr. Demsey built the small, niche makeup artist brand into a global cosmetics powerhouse. Distribution expanded from 19 markets to more than 75 and, today, M·A·C is the top-ranked prestige makeup brand in the U.S. and is distributed in more than 105 countries/territories worldwide.

In January 2005, Mr. Demsey was named Global Brand President of Estée Lauder and M·A·C, and also assumed responsibility for TOM FORD BEAUTY and Prescriptives. Mr. Demsey revitalized the Estée Lauder brand’s image, signing new spokesmodels—most recently, Kendall Jenner—and focusing its growth on high-performance skin care in Asia, particularly China. For the past decade, Mr. Demsey has worked closely with fashion designer Tom Ford to create TOM FORD BEAUTY’s successful Private Blend and Signature fragrances and the Tom Ford Cosmetics Collection.

Mr. Demsey also serves as Chairman of the M·A·C AIDS Fund, which has raised more than $500 million to date in the fight against HIV/AIDS, spearheading the wildly successful M·A·C VIVA GLAM celebrity campaigns. Mr. Demsey is active in several other AIDS/health-related organizations.

Before joining The Estée Lauder Companies, Mr. Demsey was Vice President of Sales at the specialty division of Revlon, which included the Borghese, Alexandra de Markoff and Lancaster brands. He also held various executive merchandising positions with Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Benetton and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Mr. Demsey earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University. He was inducted into the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame in 2015. He lives in New York City with his daughter.


Fabrizio Freda

Fabrizio Freda is President and Chief Executive Officer, The Estée Lauder Companies, the global leader in prestige beauty. He joined the company in March 2008 as President and Chief Operating Officer. Since assuming the CEO position in July 2009, Mr. Freda has been responsible for the company’s overall vision, strategy, financial objectives and investment priorities. Mr. Freda is a member of the company’s Board of Directors.  

In his current role, Mr. Freda is a key architect of the company’s long-term strategic plan, which is focused on gaining share in the global prestige beauty industry and delivering sustainable, long-term, profitable growth. The strategy includes prioritizing resources to the most promising opportunities, making further investments in consumer knowledge, driving innovation and creativity through products and services, and expanding the company’s distribution and geographic penetration. Mr. Freda has led strong integration across the company’s brands, regions, channels and functions to create cost efficiencies and leverage scale. Under his leadership, the company’s multiple engines of growth have delivered record sales and profits.  

Mr. Freda is a strategically-focused, financially-disciplined, results-oriented leader with a proven track record in the consumer products industry. Prior to joining The Estée Lauder Companies, Mr. Freda had an impressive 20-year career at Procter & Gamble (P&G), where he was responsible for numerous operating, marketing and strategic efforts spanning different geographies and categories. Mr. Freda also spent more than a decade in positions of increasing responsibility in the Health and Beauty Care division at P&G. During that time he led the launch and expansion of a P&G hair care brand in several European countries. Notably, in his last role at P&G as President, Global Snacks, he restructured the business, orchestrated its successful turnaround and managed employees, factories and research and development centers around the world. 

Prior to P&G, Mr. Freda directed marketing and strategic planning for Gucci SpA. Mr. Freda attended the University of Naples Federico II and holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration. 

Mr. Freda joined the Board of Directors of BlackRock, a global asset management company, in 2012. In 2013, he was appointed to the Advisory Board of the Global Business Initiative at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Mr. Freda has been presented with Italy’s Cavaliere del Lavoro by President Sergio Mattarella, and has been named to Barron’s exclusive list of the World’s Best CEO’s.

Carl Haney

Carl Haney is Executive Vice President, Research, Product and Innovation Officer. Since joining The Estée Lauder Companies in 2012, Mr. Haney has led a world-class team of talent to drive the company’s robust consumer-inspired and creativity-driven pipeline of products. Under Mr. Haney’s leadership, the company has expanded its local relevance efforts through innovation centers in Korea and California, fueling innovation across the company’s brand portfolio and helping to bring emerging consumer and technology trends to market. Mr. Haney has helped to establish partnerships with best-in-class internal and external collaborators and significantly increase the company’s patent holdings and speed to market.

Mr. Haney also serves as Chair of ELC’s Global Crisis Leadership Team, where he is responsible for overseeing the company’s planning and response for all emerging issues, issues and crises globally. Throughout his tenure, he has played a vital role responding to a variety of global issues, ensuring ingredient and formulation safety, product and packaging safety, and compliance with regulations applicable to all ELC products globally.

Mr. Haney joined The Estée Lauder Companies following a more than 25-year career at The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G). During his tenure at P&G, Mr. Haney held numerous leadership positions around the world in the Home, Health, Grooming and Beauty categories, including Vice President, R&D, Male Grooming, Gillette, Braun and Devices, where he led teams across innovation, product, packaging, process development and engineering.

Raised in Venezuela, Mr. Haney moved to the United States and attended Vanderbilt University, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He has served and advised on multiple boards, including the New England Conservatory’s Board of Overseers & Visitors, Corium International, and a number of digital start-ups across education, technology, marketing, media and clean energy. 

Jane Hertzmark Hudis

Jane Hertzmark Hudis is Executive Group President, The Estée Lauder Companies, a global leader in prestige beauty with over 25 brands. As Executive Group President, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis is responsible for leading the company’s Estée Lauder, La Mer, Bobbi Brown, AERIN, Origins, Aveda, Bumble and bumble and Dr.Jart+ brands globally. She serves on the Executive Leadership Team, is an Executive Officer of the company, serves on the Investment Development Committee, and reports directly to Fabrizio Freda, President and Chief Executive Officer. 

As one of the most accomplished, visionary executives in the prestige beauty industry, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis is regarded for her proven track record of leading and building global brands. Her portfolio reflects several of the highest growth areas of the company, including skin care and driving success across China and APAC, as well as with Chinese consumers around the world.

Throughout her career, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis has made a significant impact powering brand-building expertise, spearheading the elevation of marketing and talent, and leading her portfolio of brands to achieve outstanding broad-based growth across categories, regions and channels. 

As an enterprise-wide leader, most recently as Group President, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis has been the company’s top skin care strategist, helping to drive expertise in this critical area.  A champion of the company’s hero franchise strategy, she has driven innovation and built iconic franchises including Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair and La Mer’s Crème de La Mer. 

A passionate advocate of leadership development and inclusion and diversity throughout her career, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis co-founded ELC’s Women’s Leadership Network in 2017 to inspire and engage women across the organization, helping them become exceptional leaders and mentors. She has expanded the Women’s Leadership Network to over 2,000 members globally.

Prior to her promotion to Group President in 2016, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis served for seven years as Global Brand President, Estée Lauder, where she led the brand’s modernization and digital evolution to attract a new generation of global consumers. Preceding her leadership of Estée Lauder, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis served in a number of key leadership roles at the company, including President of Origins and BeautyBank, a brand innovation think tank she founded in 2003.

Jane’s expertise has been widely recognized by many best-in-class organizations. She serves as a Director on the Board of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Foundation and is an honorary member of FIT's Executive Committee of the Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing and Management Graduate Program. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Ms. Hertzmark Hudis has been recognized with numerous industry honors, including the FIT Vanguard Award in 2018, the Outstanding Mother Award from the National Mother’s Day Committee and Save the Children in 2017, the WWD Beauty Inc. Beauty Newsmaker Award in 2016, the HELP Hero Business Leadership Award from HELP USA in 2010, and the Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) Achiever Award in 2008.

Ms. Hertzmark Hudis received her B.A. degree from Vassar College and her M.B.A. from Columbia University. She and her husband raised two sons and reside in Manhattan.

 

Jane Lauder

Jane Lauder, Executive Vice President, Enterprise Marketing and Chief Data Office, The Estée Lauder Companies, is a leading voice in the beauty industry, including more than 23 years at The Estée Lauder Companies. As a leader of The Estée Lauder Companies’ enterprise-wise efforts to combine data-driven insights with creativity, Ms. Lauder leads the company-wide strategy to leverage business insights and analytics to build digitally-directed priorities to accelerate growth.

Reporting to Fabrizio Freda, President and CEO of The Estée Lauder Companies, Ms. Lauder leads global and regional corporate marketing, consumer and product marketing insights, global consumer care and marketing planning, and advertising and promotion effectiveness. This includes enhancing the integration of cross-channel data to drive personalized marketing and omnichannel activation, as well as leading The Estée Lauder Companies’ enterprise-wide data and analytics transformation program.

Prior to her role as EVP, Enterprise Marketing and Chief Data Officer, The Estée Lauder Companies, Ms. Lauder was Global Brand President, Clinique (2014 – 2019). During her tenure, Ms. Lauder led the transformation of brand strategy, distribution, product innovation and consumer reach, positioning Clinique for strong long-term growth. Under Ms. Lauder’s leadership, Clinique fundamentally shifted nearly one-third of product revenue from low-growth distribution channels to high-growth channels and tripled Clinique’s online business. Ms. Lauder oversaw the development of product innovations including Moisture Surge™ 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator and Clinique iD™ and technology innovations with Clinique Clinical Reality™ to strengthen the brands skin care position in clinical efficacy and high-touch services and personalization.

Prior to that, Ms. Lauder was the Brand President for the Origins, Ojon and Darphin brands (2008 – 2014). Under her leadership, Origins, a high-performance, natural skin care brand, grew and expanded globally. She was the vision and guiding force behind the launch of the brand’s greatest success story, Plantscription™ Serum. In 2010, Ms. Lauder’s portfolio of brands grew with the addition of Ojon, and in 2013, botanical skin care brand, Darphin, which is a leading pharmacy and professional high-end skin care brand that offers excellence in efficacy and sensorial experience.

Ms. Lauder served as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing Clinique (2006 – 2008). In this role, she led the brand’s overall strategic marketing and positioning as well as product, category, market and channel expansion.

Prior to Clinique, she spearheaded the creation and launch of the American Beauty and Flirt! brands as Vice President of Marketing BeautyBank, and oversaw the positioning, product development and creative direction for both brands.

Ms. Lauder has been a member of the Board of Directors of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. since July 2009. Currently, Ms. Lauder sits on the Board of Directors of Eventbrite, as well as the Board of Trustees for the New York Public Library and the Board of Directors of the Friends of the High Line in New York City.

Ms. Lauder graduated from Stanford University and currently resides in New York City. She is the granddaughter of the Founder and namesake of The Estée Lauder Companies and the daughter of Ronald S. Lauder, Chairman, Clinique Laboratories, LLC.

Leonard A. Lauder

Leonard A. Lauder is Chairman Emeritus of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. and is currently the senior member of its Board of Directors.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Mr. Lauder also studied at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. He formally joined the Company in 1958, when it had annual sales of $800,000. Mr. Lauder consistently developed and implemented innovative sales and marketing programs and increased the Company’s sales and profits. He created its first research and development laboratory and brought in professional management on every level. He also initiated The Estée Lauder Companies’ international expansion, which began in 1960 with the opening of the Estée Lauder account at Harrods in London.

Mr. Lauder served as President of The Estée Lauder Companies from 1972 to 1995 and as Chief Executive Officer from 1982 to 1999. He added the title of Chairman in 1995 and served as Chairman through June 2009. Under his leadership, the Company launched many brands, including Aramis, Clinique, Lab Series and Origins. Beginning in the mid-1990s, the company also began expanding through acquisitions, including Aveda, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone London, La Mer and M·A·C.

In addition to his activities with The Estée Lauder Companies, Mr. Lauder is extremely involved in the worlds of education, art, politics and philanthropy. He is Emeritus Trustee of the University of Pennsylvania and a founding member of the Board of Governors of its Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies. Mr. Lauder became a Trustee of the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City in 1977 and currently serves as its Chairman Emeritus. He is Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation; Co-Chairman of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation Board of Directors; a member of the Council on Foreign Relations; Chairman Emeritus and Lifetime Trustee of the Aspen Institute Board of Directors, as well as former Chairman of the Aspen Institute International Committee; and a member of the President’s Council of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital. Mr. Lauder served on the Advisory Committee for Trade Negotiations under President Ronald Reagan. Among his honors, he has been named an Officier de la Légion d’Honneur by France and recognized by the U.S. Navy Supply Corps Foundation with its Distinguished Alumni Award. The Lauder family received the esteemed 2011 Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy in recognition of its long-standing commitment to philanthropy and public service. Mr. Lauder was the 2013 recipient of the Palazzo Strozzi Renaissance Man of the Year Award. Most recently, he was named a 2014 Living Landmark by the New York Landmarks Conservancy.

Mr. Lauder was married to Evelyn H. Lauder (Senior Corporate Vice President for The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.) from 1959 until she passed away in 2011. They had two sons together, William (Executive Chairman, The Estée Lauder Companies) and Gary (Managing Partner, Lauder Partners LLC), and five grandchildren.

On January 1, 2015, Mr. Lauder married Judy Glickman Lauder, an internationally recognized philanthropist and photographer whose work is represented in more than 300 public and private collections including the J. Paul Getty Museum and the Whitney Museum of American Art.

Ronald S. Lauder

Ronald S. Lauder is the younger son of Estée and Joseph Lauder and, like his brother, Leonard, learned the family business at the dinner table. He formally joined the company in 1964, beginning his career in the Oevel, Belgium factory. His executive roles began when he became General Manager of Clinique Laboratories in 1985, and he has served as Chairman since 1994. Mr. Lauder was instrumental in the creation of Prescriptives and served as Chairman of Estee Lauder International from 1992 to 2002. He also served as a member of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Board of Directors from 1968 to 1986 and 1988 to 2009. He was re-elected to the Board in November 2016.

In 1983, Mr. Lauder took a leave from The Estée Lauder Companies to serve in the U.S. Pentagon as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for European and NATO Affairs. In 1986, he was appointed Ambassador to Austria by President Ronald Reagan. Upon his return from Vienna in 1987, he established the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation, which now has 35 Jewish schools, kindergartens and summer camps throughout 15 countries in Eastern Europe. Over 7,500 children attend these schools today, and 2,500 children attend the summer camps. Over the years, the Foundation has educated more than 30,000 children in a region that was devoid of Jewish scholarship and has helped build thriving Jewish communities throughout this area. Mr. Lauder also created an International Student Exchange Program between Jewish high school students in New York and Vienna.

In addition to his international interests, Mr. Lauder has long been committed to civic causes and public policy issues at home. A political activist on the state and national level, he was a contender for Mayor of New York City in 1989.

In June 2007, Mr. Lauder was elected to lead the World Jewish Congress, and has served as the organization’s President ever since. In this capacity, Mr. Lauder meets with heads of countries, diplomats and religious leaders, representing Jewish communities in 100 countries around the world.

In February of 1999, Mr. Lauder was elected Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. His selection by the Conference followed his election in 1997 as President of the Jewish National Fund of which he now serves as Chairman.

Mr. Lauder also serves as Chairman of the International Public Committee of the World Jewish Restitution Organization; Chairman of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation Committee; Chairman of the Jewish Heritage Council; Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sakharov Archives at Brandeis University; Director of the International Board of Governors of the International Society for Yad Vashem; and is a member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, the Board of Directors of the Jewish Theological Seminary; the Board of Directors of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee; the Board of Trustees of the Anti-Defamation League Foundation; the International Auschwitz Council; and the International Board of Governors of the Tel Aviv Museum.

Mr. Lauder is the Founder and Chairman of the New York based Water Holding Group RWL Water, LLC, an international water company. He is also Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1998, Mr. Lauder co-founded the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation together with his brother, Leonard A. Lauder. They serve together as co-Chairmen of the Foundation.

A renowned art collector, Mr. Lauder has established one of the world’s greatest private collections. He was Chairman of the Museum of Modern Art from 1995 to 2005 and now serves as the museum’s Honorary Chairman. In 2001, he established the Neue Galerie New York, of which he is President. The museum is dedicated to German and Austrian art. Mr. Lauder established the Commission for Art Recovery in 1997, which advocates and fights for the recovery of Nazi looted art.

Among his honors, Mr. Lauder received the International Emmy Directorate Award by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 2006. He received, together with his wife, Jo Carole Lauder, the Andrew Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy in 2011, and in 2013, Mr. Lauder was named an Officier de la Légion d’Honneur by President Hollande of France. He was decorated with Germany’s highest honor, the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit, in 2015 and was awarded the Guardian of Zion prize by the Ingeborg Rennert Center for Jerusalem Studies at Bar Ilan University in 2016. Mr. Lauder also received honorary doctoral degrees from Ben Gurion University in 2009 and from Yeshiva University in 2011.

Mr. Lauder was born on February 26, 1944. He graduated from the Bronx High School of Science in New York and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He studied at the University of Paris and received a Certificate in International Business from the University of Brussels. Mr. Lauder married Jo Carole Knopf in July of 1967. They have two children and two grandchildren. The family resides in New York City.

William P. Lauder

William P. Lauder is a son of Leonard and Evelyn Lauder and a grandson of Estée and Joseph Lauder. Mr. Lauder became Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Directors in July 2009. He was Chief Executive Officer from July 2004 through June 2009. During his five-year tenure as Chief Executive, he expanded the company’s international presence and distribution channels and greatly strengthened the brand portfolio.

He joined the company in 1986 as Regional Marketing Director of Clinique U.S.A. in the New York metro area. In 1990 he led the creation of the Origins brand and its innovative store-within-a store concept. He subsequently was promoted to several senior leadership positions; he led the worldwide businesses for Clinique and Origins and oversaw the company’s free standing stores and Internet business. In 2003 he became Chief Operating Officer, with oversight of all the company’s global operations, as well as nine specialty brands and the retail business.

Under his leadership, Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion became the best-selling prestige skin care product in U.S. department stores and Clinique launched its first anti-aging product.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Lauder completed Macy’s Executive Training Program in New York City and was Associate Merchandising Manager of the New York Division/Dallas store when it opened in 1985.

He is a member of the Boards of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and an Emeritus Trustee on the Trinity School Board in New York City, his alma maters. He is also Chairman of the Board of the Fresh Air Fund, a member of the Boards of Directors of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the 92nd Street Y, the Partnership for New York City and the Advisory Board of Zelnick Media. In 2012, Mr. Lauder received a lecturer appointment to the faculty of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches “Decision Making in the Leadership Chair,” a course he designed for second-year MBA students.

Sara Moss

Sara Moss is Vice Chairman of The Estée Lauder Companies. In her role, Ms. Moss serves as a senior advisor to the Board of Directors, Executive Management and the Lauder family. She co-leads the Women’s Leaderships Network (WLN), is a leader of the Sustainability Executive Committee and works collaboratively with senior leaders and others across the organization to drive the company’s Women’s Leadership Initiatives and Governance pillars. Previously, Ms. Moss served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for The Estée Lauder Companies, where she was responsible for the company’s worldwide Legal and Global Security functions.

Ms. Moss has been with The Estée Lauder Companies for more than 16 years. She began her career as a law clerk for the Honorable Constance Baker Motley, U.S. District Judge in the Southern District of New York, and then became a litigator at Davis Polk & Wardwell. She went on to serve as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York, where she prosecuted a wide range of federal cases. Moving back to the private sector, Ms. Moss was a senior litigation partner at Howard, Darby & Levin (now Covington & Burling) and then Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Pitney Bowes Inc.

Ms. Moss’s passion for the law, women’s leadership and community engagement reaches far beyond her position at the company. She is Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Society and on the NYU Law School Board, as well as the New York Common Pantry Board, The Estée Lauder Charitable Foundation Board and the Board of Overseers of the International Rescue Committee. Ms. Moss has continuously demonstrated a passion for developing female leaders, having most recently established the Sara Moss Women’s Leadership Training Program at NYU Law School.

Throughout her career, Ms. Moss has been recognized with many industry awards and honors, including: the New York Law Journal Lifetime Achievement Award, the Legal Aid Society Servant of Justice Award, the Chambers Outstanding In-House Lawyer of the Year Award, the NYU Outstanding Alumna Award, the Anti-Defamation League Human Relations Award, the NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund “Aiming High” Award, the Minority Corporate Counsel Diversity Award, the Pro Bono Partnership Outstanding Contribution Award, and the Anastasia D. Ms. Moss is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Massachusetts and New York University Law School. She has four children and lives in New York with her husband, Michael Gould.

Michael O'Hare

Michael O'Hare is Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources, at The Estée Lauder Companies, one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of quality skin care, makeup, fragrance and hair care products. Mr. O’Hare has held this position since September 2013. He reports to the Company’s Executive Chairman, William P. Lauder, and President and Chief Executive Officer, Fabrizio Freda.

Overseeing a global network of Human Resources (HR) professionals, Mr. O’Hare works closely with all business operations of the Company, directing the recruitment, retention, compensation, and development of the Company’s 44,000 employees. Mr. O’Hare has more than 20 years of experience directing and guiding teams around the world.

Before joining The Estée Lauder Companies, Mr. O'Hare was Global Chief Human Resources Officer for the Netherlands-based company Heineken N.V. As a member of Heineken’s executive committee, he helped integrate acquired operations in Mexico, Brazil, Southeast Asia, Ethiopia, Haiti and Nigeria. Working closely with Heineken’s board of directors, Mr. O’Hare led the company’s governance, compensation and talent development programs, establishing a top HR function that supports Heineken’s more than 85,000 employees across 70 countries.

Prior to his time at Heineken, Mr. O’Hare spent 13 years at PepsiCo Inc., where he held a variety of senior HR roles culminating in the position of Chief Personnel Officer/Vice President for Asia Pacific. In this role, he oversaw all HR activities in the region across more than 40 business units and joint ventures.

Mr. O’Hare was born in Northern Ireland and has lived and worked in Europe, the United States and Asia. After graduating from the University of Dundee in Scotland, he went on to receive a Master of Economics from the London School of Economics and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.

Cedric Prouvé

Cedric Prouvé became Group President, International, for The Estée Lauder Companies in January, 2003. Mr. Prouvé is responsible for sales and profits for the Company in all markets outside of North America and for all activities of its sales affiliates and distributor relationships worldwide. He collaborates closely with the Company’s Group and Brand Presidents and functions to integrate all global marketing strategies in the international markets. He also oversees the Company's Travel Retail business.

Previously, Mr. Prouvé was President and General Manager of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Japanese affiliate from August 2000 to December 2002. In this role he better positioned the Company to meet the challenges of the rapidly changing Japanese cosmetics market.

From April 1997 to August 2000, Mr. Prouvé was Vice President, General Manager, Travel Retailing Worldwide. In this position he effectively met the challenges of the abolition of duty-free trading within the European Economic Community and the 1998 currency shocks in Asia/Pacific, while proactively managing the opportunities arising from the introduction of new brands and specialized marketing programs for the Travel Retail channel. He joined The Estée Lauder Companies in 1994 as General Manager, Travel Retailing, Asia/Pacific Region, and was given the added responsibility of General Manager of the Company's Singapore affiliate in 1995.

Prior to joining The Estée Lauder Companies, Mr. Prouvé spent nine years with the L’Oréal Group in sales and management positions of increasing responsibility in the Americas and Pacific Rim.

Mr. Prouvé was born in France and educated in France and the United States. He holds a Master of Science degree in Marketing Research and Marketing Management from the University of Kansas and he completed Harvard University’s Advanced Management Program. He lives in New York with his wife, Blanca, and their two children.

Deirdre Stanley

Deirdre Stanley is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC). In this capacity, Ms. Stanley leads the company’s legal strategy, practices and policies, and is responsible for ELC’s Legal organization globally. Ms. Stanley is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team and she serves as a senior advisor to ELC’s Board of Directors and Executive Management on complex global legal issues and business interests, including corporate strategies, reporting, compliance, risk mitigation, governance and complex business transactions. Ms. Stanley also leads the company’s legal review of potential acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.

Ms. Stanley’s career has included leadership roles at large matrixed organizations as well as acting as a key strategic partner to multiple CEOs and Boards at a family-controlled, publicly traded company. Before joining The Estée Lauder Companies in 2019, Ms. Stanley served as General Counsel of The Thomson Reuters Corporation and its predecessor company for 17 years. During her tenure, Ms. Stanley held roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in her appointment as Chief Legal Officer where she oversaw worldwide legal affairs and operations.

Ms. Stanley began her career at the law firm Cravath, Swaine and Moore, and moved to the client side to pursue her interests in business with general counsel roles at the GTE Corporation, a predecessor company to Verizon, followed by InterActiveCorp/USA Networks, Inc., now IAC.

Ms. Stanley has been recognized for her leadership and commitment to diversity by various legal and civic organizations, with awards including Inside Counsel’s Transformative Leadership Award, the National Law Journal’s 20 Most Influential General Counsel recognition, and the Girl Scouts of New York Tribute Dinner awardee.

Ms. Stanley serves on the Board of Directors of Consolidated Edison, Inc. She is also on the Board of Trustees of the Hospital for Special Surgery and the Dalton School. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Executive Leadership Council. Ms. Stanley holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, and J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was a member of the Harvard Law Review.

She resides in New York City with her husband and son.

Tracey T. Travis

Tracey T. Travis has been Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of The Estée Lauder Companies since August, 2012, with responsibilities for Global Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, Information Technology, and Strategy and New Business Development. Ms. Travis also co- leads the company’s major cost savings and process improvement initiatives. Previously, Ms. Travis was Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Ralph Lauren Corporation from January 2005 to July 2012, with responsibilities for Global Finance, Accounting, Tax and Treasury, and Business Development, as well as Investor Relations and Information Technology. In both of these roles, she has successfully led and supported multiple acquisitions, the development of enhanced capital structures and shareholder returns, and technology transformations.

Ms. Travis was with Limited Brands in Columbus, Ohio, from 2001 to 2004 as Chief Financial Officer of Intimate Brands Inc. and as Senior Vice President of Finance for Limited Brands, with responsibilities for operational finance for all divisions, capital planning, corporate forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning. From 1999 to 2001, Ms. Travis was Chief Financial Officer of the Americas Group of American National Can, where she led both the Finance and Information Technology groups. Prior to this position, she held various management positions at PepsiCo/Pepsi Bottling Group from 1989 to 1999. Ms. Travis served as Group Manager of New Products, where she led the manufacturing, distribution and market development of the business plans for Pepsi’s entrance into non-soft drink beverage categories; as General Manager, where she led the manufacturing, distribution and market development of beverages for a Michigan market unit; and as Chief Financial Officer of the Michigan Business Unit. Previously, she began her career at General Motors as an engineer and progressed through various financial roles, including on the controller’s staff where she worked on international product programs, joint ventures and divestitures.

Ms. Travis currently serves as a director on the Board of Accenture PLC and the Board of Facebook. She previously served on the Boards of Campbell Soup Company from 2011 to 2017, and Jo-Ann Stores Inc. from 2003 to 2011, where she also chaired the Audit Committee. She is a member of the Board of Overseers for Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business, and recently served as a trustee on the Board of the University of Pittsburgh. In addition, she serves as a director on the Board of Lincoln Center Theater in New York. In 2019, Ms. Travis became a member of the Economic Club of New York and the Council on Foreign Relations.

Ms. Travis was recognized in 2005 by Treasury and Risk magazine as one of the “Top 25 Women in Finance,” and in 2012 as one of the “100 Most Influential People in Finance.” In 2008, she was granted the Best CFO award by Institutional Investor magazine. She has been named one of the “Top 100 African Americans in Corporate America” by Black Enterprise magazine, and in 2019, she was included on the publication’s list of “The Most Powerful Women in Corporate America.” In 2011, Ms. Travis was asked to serve as an inaugural member of the Wall Street Journal’s CFO Forum. In 2016, she received Legal Momentum’s Aiming High Award, and in 2019, she was honored with an Achiever Award by Cosmetic Executive Women. Ms. Travis has also received multiple Distinguished Alumni awards from her alma mater, the University of Pittsburgh.

Ms. Travis received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from Columbia University.

Meridith Webster

Meridith Webster is Executive Vice President, Global Communications and Public Affairs at The Estée Lauder Companies, a position she assumed in 2021. In this role, Ms. Webster leads the company’s communications and public affairs strategies, advancing and protecting its business interests and corporate reputation globally, while strengthening relationships to drive value for key stakeholders. She also serves as a strategic advisor to the company’s senior leadership on a variety of critical topics.

A highly talented and respected leader, Ms. Webster has an exceptional background across business, government, media, and philanthropy. She joins ELC from the Biden White House, where she served as Special Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff to the Domestic Policy Council. In the Obama Administration, she served as Senior Advisor to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and Deputy Chief of Staff to Susan Rice, then the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.

Prior to serving in the Biden Administration, Ms. Webster served as Vox Media’s first-ever Chief Communications Officer, overseeing strategic communications and media relations across a growing and successful modern media company. While at Vox Media, Ms. Webster led the communications for the company’s merger with New York Media, among other notable accomplishments. Ms. Webster also served in several roles at Bloomberg L.P. and Bloomberg Philanthropies, including as the Global Head of Public Affairs, where she oversaw climate and public health communications and public affairs campaigns as well as strategic communications initiatives for the company. Ms. Webster began her career working at the Clinton White House and the U.S. State Department before earning her law degree at Georgetown University Law Center.

The Lauder Family

Leonard A. Lauder

Leonard A. Lauder is Chairman Emeritus of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. and is currently the senior member of its Board of Directors. Founded in 1946, the Company is one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of quality skin care, makeup, fragrance and hair care products, with annual sales of $10.97 billion. Its products are sold in over 150 countries and territories across more than 25 well-recognized brand names.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Mr. Lauder also studied at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. He formally joined the Company in 1958, when it had annual sales of $800,000. Mr. Lauder consistently developed and implemented innovative sales and marketing programs and increased the Company’s sales and profits. He created its first research and development laboratory and brought in professional management on every level. He also initiated The Estée Lauder Companies’ international expansion, which began in 1960 with the opening of the Estée Lauder account at Harrods in London.

Mr. Lauder served as President of The Estée Lauder Companies from 1972 to 1995 and as Chief Executive Officer from 1982 to 1999. He added the title of Chairman in 1995 and served as Chairman through June 2009. Under his leadership, the Company launched many brands, including Aramis, Clinique, Lab Series and Origins. Beginning in the mid-1990s, the company also began expanding through acquisitions, including Aveda, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone London, La Mer and MAC.

In addition to his activities with The Estée Lauder Companies, Mr. Lauder is extremely involved in the worlds of education, art, politics and philanthropy. He is Emeritus Trustee of the University of Pennsylvania and a founding member of the Board of Governors of its Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies. Mr. Lauder became a Trustee of the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City in 1977 and currently serves as its Chairman Emeritus. He is Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation; Co-Chairman of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation Board of Directors; a member of the Council on Foreign Relations; Chairman Emeritus and Lifetime Trustee of the Aspen Institute Board of Directors, as well as former Chairman of the Aspen Institute International Committee; and a member of the President’s Council of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital. Mr. Lauder served on the Advisory Committee for Trade Negotiations under President Ronald Reagan. Among his honors, he has been named an Officier de la Légion d’Honneur by France and recognized by the U.S. Navy Supply Corps Foundation with its Distinguished Alumni Award. The Lauder family received the esteemed 2011 Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy in recognition of its long-standing commitment to philanthropy and public service. Mr. Lauder was the 2013 recipient of the Palazzo Strozzi Renaissance Man of the Year Award. Most recently, he was named a 2014 Living Landmark by the New York Landmarks Conservancy.

Mr. Lauder was married to Evelyn H. Lauder (Senior Corporate Vice President for The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.) from 1959 until she passed away in 2011. They had two sons together, William (Executive Chairman, The Estée Lauder Companies) and Gary (Managing Partner, Lauder Partners LLC), and five grandchildren.

On January 1, 2015, Mr. Lauder married Judy Glickman Lauder, an internationally recognized philanthropist and photographer whose work is represented in more than 300 public and private collections, including the J. Paul Getty Museum and the Whitney Museum of American Art.

Ronald S. Lauder

Ronald S. Lauder is the younger son of Estée and Joseph Lauder and, like his brother, Leonard, learned the family business at the dinner table. He formally joined the company in 1964, beginning his career in the Oevel, Belgium factory. His executive roles began when he became General Manager of Clinique Laboratories in 1985, and he has served as Chairman since 1994. Mr. Lauder was instrumental in the creation of Prescriptives and served as Chairman of Estee Lauder International from 1992 to 2002. He also served as a member of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Board of Directors from 1968 to 1986 and 1988 to 2009. He was re-elected to the Board in November 2016.

In 1983, Mr. Lauder took a leave from The Estée Lauder Companies to serve in the U.S. Pentagon as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for European and NATO Affairs. In 1986, he was appointed Ambassador to Austria by President Ronald Reagan. Upon his return from Vienna in 1987, he established the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation, which now has 35 Jewish schools, kindergartens and summer camps throughout 15 countries in Eastern Europe. Over 7,500 children attend these schools today, and 2,500 children attend the summer camps. Over the years, the Foundation has educated more than 30,000 children in a region that was devoid of Jewish scholarship and has helped build thriving Jewish communities throughout this area. Mr. Lauder also created an International Student Exchange Program between Jewish high school students in New York and Vienna.

In addition to his international interests, Mr. Lauder has long been committed to civic causes and public policy issues at home. A political activist on the state and national level, he was a contender for Mayor of New York City in 1989.

In June 2007, Mr. Lauder was elected to lead the World Jewish Congress, and has served as the organization’s President ever since. In this capacity, Mr. Lauder meets with heads of countries, diplomats and religious leaders, representing Jewish communities in 100 countries around the world.

In February of 1999, Mr. Lauder was elected Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. His selection by the Conference followed his election in 1997 as President of the Jewish National Fund of which he now serves as Chairman.

Mr. Lauder also serves as Chairman of the International Public Committee of the World Jewish Restitution Organization; Chairman of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation Committee; Chairman of the Jewish Heritage Council; Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sakharov Archives at Brandeis University; Director of the International Board of Governors of the International Society for Yad Vashem; and is a member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, the Board of Directors of the Jewish Theological Seminary; the Board of Directors of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee; the Board of Trustees of the Anti-Defamation League Foundation; the International Auschwitz Council; and the International Board of Governors of the Tel Aviv Museum.

Mr. Lauder is the Founder and Chairman of the New York based Water Holding Group RWL Water, LLC, an international water company. He is also Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1998, Mr. Lauder co-founded the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation together with his brother, Leonard A. Lauder. They serve together as co-Chairmen of the Foundation.

A renowned art collector, Mr. Lauder has established one of the world’s greatest private collections. He was Chairman of the Museum of Modern Art from 1995 to 2005 and now serves as the museum’s Honorary Chairman. In 2001, he established the Neue Galerie New York, of which he is President. The museum is dedicated to German and Austrian art. Mr. Lauder established the Commission for Art Recovery in 1997, which advocates and fights for the recovery of Nazi looted art.

Among his honors, Mr. Lauder received the International Emmy Directorate Award by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 2006. He received, together with his wife, Jo Carole Lauder, the Andrew Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy in 2011, and in 2013, Mr. Lauder was named an Officier de la Légion d’Honneur by President Hollande of France. He was decorated with Germany’s highest honor, the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit, in 2015 and was awarded the Guardian of Zion prize by the Ingeborg Rennert Center for Jerusalem Studies at Bar Ilan University in 2016. Mr. Lauder also received honorary doctoral degrees from Ben Gurion University in 2009 and from Yeshiva University in 2011.

Mr. Lauder was born on February 26, 1944. He graduated from the Bronx High School of Science in New York and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He studied at the University of Paris and received a Certificate in International Business from the University of Brussels. Mr. Lauder married Jo Carole Knopf in July of 1967. They have two children and two grandchildren. The family resides in New York City.

William P. Lauder

William P. Lauder is a son of Leonard and Evelyn Lauder and a grandson of Estée and Joseph Lauder. Mr. Lauder became Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Directors in July 2009. He was Chief Executive Officer from July 2004 through June 2009. During his five-year tenure as Chief Executive, he expanded the company’s international presence and distribution channels and greatly strengthened the brand portfolio.

He joined the company in 1986 as Regional Marketing Director of Clinique U.S.A. in the New York metro area. In 1990 he led the creation of the Origins brand and its innovative store-within-a store concept. He subsequently was promoted to several senior leadership positions; he led the worldwide businesses for Clinique and Origins and oversaw the company’s free standing stores and Internet business. In 2003 he became Chief Operating Officer, with oversight of all the company’s global operations, as well as nine specialty brands and the retail business.

Under his leadership, Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion became the best-selling prestige skin care product in U.S. department stores and Clinique launched its first anti-aging product.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Lauder completed Macy’s Executive Training Program in New York City and was Associate Merchandising Manager of the New York Division/Dallas store when it opened in 1985.

He is a member of the Boards of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and an Emeritus Trustee on the Trinity School Board in New York City, his alma maters. He is also Chairman of the Board of the Fresh Air Fund, a member of the Boards of Directors of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the 92nd Street Y, the Partnership for New York City and the Advisory Board of Zelnick Media. In 2012, Mr. Lauder received a lecturer appointment to the faculty of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches “Decision Making in the Leadership Chair,” a course he designed for second-year MBA students.

Aerin Lauder

Aerin Lauder is the Founder and Creative Director of the luxury lifestyle brand AERIN, and Style and Image Director for Estée Lauder, the flagship brand of The Estée Lauder Companies.

Aerin began her career with The Estée Lauder Companies in 1992 as a member of the Prescriptives marketing team. She proceeded to hold various positions in product development, advertising and creative, including Creative Director, shaping the Estée Lauder brand's image globally for 20 years.

Aerin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg School for Communication. She serves on the Education Committee for the Board of Trustees at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the International Committee of the Museum of Modern Art. Additionally, she is actively involved in the Neue Galerie, a museum founded in 2001 by her father, Ronald S. Lauder, that is dedicated to German and Austrian art from the early 20th Century.

Ms. Lauder lives in New York with her husband and two children.

Jane Lauder

Jane Lauder, Executive Vice President, Enterprise Marketing and Chief Data Office, The Estée Lauder Companies, is a leading voice in the beauty industry, including more than 23 years at The Estée Lauder Companies. As a leader of The Estée Lauder Companies’ enterprise-wise efforts to combine data-driven insights with creativity, Ms. Lauder leads the company-wide strategy to leverage business insights and analytics to build digitally-directed priorities to accelerate growth.

Reporting to Fabrizio Freda, President and CEO of The Estée Lauder Companies, Ms. Lauder leads global and regional corporate marketing, consumer and product marketing insights, global consumer care and marketing planning, and advertising and promotion effectiveness. This includes enhancing the integration of cross-channel data to drive personalized marketing and omnichannel activation, as well as leading The Estée Lauder Companies’ enterprise-wide data and analytics transformation program.

Prior to her role as EVP, Enterprise Marketing and Chief Data Officer, The Estée Lauder Companies, Ms. Lauder was Global Brand President, Clinique (2014 – 2019). During her tenure, Ms. Lauder led the transformation of brand strategy, distribution, product innovation and consumer reach, positioning Clinique for strong long-term growth. Under Ms. Lauder’s leadership, Clinique fundamentally shifted nearly one-third of product revenue from low-growth distribution channels to high-growth channels and tripled Clinique’s online business. Ms. Lauder oversaw the development of product innovations including Moisture Surge™ 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator and Clinique iD™ and technology innovations with Clinique Clinical Reality™ to strengthen the brands skin care position in clinical efficacy and high-touch services and personalization.

Prior to that, Ms. Lauder was the Brand President for the Origins, Ojon and Darphin brands (2008 – 2014). Under her leadership, Origins, a high-performance, natural skin care brand, grew and expanded globally. She was the vision and guiding force behind the launch of the brand’s greatest success story, Plantscription™ Serum. In 2010, Ms. Lauder’s portfolio of brands grew with the addition of Ojon, and in 2013, botanical skin care brand, Darphin, which is a leading pharmacy and professional high-end skin care brand that offers excellence in efficacy and sensorial experience.

Ms. Lauder served as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing Clinique (2006 – 2008). In this role, she led the brand’s overall strategic marketing and positioning as well as product, category, market and channel expansion.

Prior to Clinique, she spearheaded the creation and launch of the American Beauty and Flirt! brands as Vice President of Marketing BeautyBank, and oversaw the positioning, product development and creative direction for both brands.

Ms. Lauder has been a member of the Board of Directors of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. since July 2009. Currently, Ms. Lauder sits on the Board of Directors of Eventbrite, as well as the Board of Trustees for the New York Public Library and the Board of Directors of the Friends of the High Line in New York City.

Ms. Lauder graduated from Stanford University and currently resides in New York City. She is the granddaughter of the Founder and namesake of The Estée Lauder Companies and the daughter of Ronald S. Lauder, Chairman, Clinique Laboratories, LLC.

Regional Leaders

Olivier Bottrie

Olivier Bottrie serves as Global President, Travel Retail and Retail Development, a position he was appointed to in October 2017. In his current role, Mr. Bottrie is responsible for the Company’s Travel Retail channel worldwide and the strategic development of the Company’s retail stores globally.

 

With the addition of Retail Development worldwide to his responsibilities, Mr. Bottrie will help further diversify and profitably grow the Company’s freestanding store portfolio, strengthen retail operational excellence and efficiency, drive increased consumer coverage and strategic expansion of freestanding stores.In this capacity, he will also enable enhanced omnichannel experiences, and imagine and develop future retail store models.

 

Mr. Bottrie has been with the Company for more than two decades, serving in roles of increasing responsibility, including as President, Travel Retail Worldwide, a role he was appointed to in 2004. Under his leadership, Mr. Bottrie successfully directed the strategic and operational development of the ELC portfolio of brands in the Global Travel Retail channel. Previously, Mr. Bottrie held the positions of Regional Vice President, Field Sales North East, Estée Lauder, supervising several of the brand’s major retail accounts nationally; he also served as Vice President/General Manager, Aramis and Designer Fragrances’ International division and Vice President/General Manager, Travel Retail Americas. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Bottrie held various positions at Yves Saint Laurent Beauté and served in the French Military as 2nd Lieutenant and Platoon Leader, 6th Marine Parachute Regiment.

 

Mr. Bottrie holds a Master in Business Administration, Finance and Investments from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C. and a Licence en droit- Droit des affaires, Université Paris II- Sorbonne. In 2009, he attended the Advanced Management Program of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Olivier Bottrie and two Travel Retail executives co-founded Hand in Hand for Haiti in 2010, in response to the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti that year. Hand in Hand for Haiti is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to build and operate a sustainable school in Haiti, focusing on the country’s youngest and neediest.

 

Mr. Bottrie was received in the National Order of Merit of France, as well as the National Order of Honor and Merit of Haiti.  In October 2015, he was appointed Goodwill Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti in recognition of his work in Haiti.

 

Olivier Bottrie lives in New York with his wife Alexandra and his two children, Nicolas and Camille.

 

Sue Fox

Sue Fox is President, The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) UK & Ireland. Sue has led the company’s most established market since January 2020, when she initially joined the region as Senior Vice President/General Manager, ELC UK & Ireland. Sue oversees all the UK & Ireland region’s brands and reports directly to Cedric Prouvé, International Group President, ELC.

Sue has spent 26 years at ELC and continuously raises the bar for excellence in setting new strategic ambitions for the business in highly-competitive markets. Prior to moving to the UK, Sue served as General Manager of ELC’s Japan Affiliate and successfully drove the business in one of the most strategic and demanding consumer markets globally. During her time in Japan, she oversaw five consecutive quarters of net sales growth by focusing on emerging trends across categories, channel segments and demographics.

Sue has also led Travel Retail EMEA, based in London, achieving a number of "firsts" including the company’s first ever traveler influencer day, opening a multi-branded ELC door in Abu Dhabi and contributing to the profitability improvement of key Travel Retail EMEA accounts. Before that, Sue successfully led the South Africa affiliate for 10 years, where the business grew substantially, further expanding in the South Africa and pioneering the company’s presence in the Sub-Sahara markets. She also has experience across the company’s Asia Pacific and North America regions and affiliates. 

Over her career she has become well-known for her deep commitment to developing diverse talent and capabilities and for her work driving effective Citizenship and Sustainability programs. She is a results-driven, transformative leader possessing the strategic global business acumen and expertise to navigate today's shifting landscape. Sue was born in Jamaica. She holds an honors degree from the University of Leeds.

Chris Good

Chris Good is Group President, North America for The Estée Lauder Companies. Mr. Good leads the company’s home market, overseeing more than 25 brands in the U.S. and Canada. He is also a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

 

Chris Good started out as a professional footballer for Queens Park Rangers in 1978 but later switched to a business degree at London University, graduating with a BA (Hons). His career in beauty started on graduation with a series of sales and marketing roles within Elizabeth Arden, The Estée Lauder Companies and Unilever in London.

In 1989, Mr. Good was appointed European Marketing Director for the Prestige division of Unilever in Geneva, a role that established his international career. His career with Unilever Prestige took him all over the world and in quick succession he became European Marketing Director in New York; President of Unilever in Tokyo; Regional Vice President in Shanghai and General Manager/Regional Vice President in Singapore.

After a period out of The Estée Lauder Companies, he returned to the fold in 2000 to take on the position of General Manager/Regional Vice President for Clinique in APAC, a role that he held for five years. In 2005 he was named General Director of the young Russian affiliate business and took it to the number one slot during his time there.

In 2008 he was appointed Senior Vice President, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, India and Africa, and became a key member of the EMEA leadership team.

After 22 years working across seven different countries, Mr. Good returned to London in 2012 to take on the prestigious role of Regional President/Managing Director of The Estée Lauder Companies, U.K. & Ireland, the company’s second largest market globally after the North American home market. In January 2014 he was promoted to President of the U.K. business. In 2017 he was named President, North America and promoted to Group President of the North America business in 2018.

Peter Jueptner

Peter Jueptner is President, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at The Estée Lauder Companies. In this position, Peter leads the regional strategy, commercial operations and business growth for 17 affiliates, spanning more than 25 countries across developing and emerging markets and covering nearly half of the world’s population. Since assuming the role in 2016, Peter has spearheaded growth opportunities and led critical share gain throughout EMEA’s diverse and complex landscape.

Peter is well known for designing and implementing breakthrough winning business models that promote a culture of agility and transformation. Before his current role, Peter worked alongside President and Chief Executive Officer, Fabrizio Freda, in the development and execution of the company’s strategy as Executive Vice President, Strategy and New Business Development. During this time, the company delivered record results including consistent top-line growth ahead of the industry. Additionally, Peter played a key role in strengthening and expanding the company’s diverse portfolio, overseeing six acquisitions including Smashbox.

Prior to joining The Estée Lauder Companies in 2009, Peter served as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions at Philip Morris International, where he was a key change agent in developing new business strategies to drive organizational effectiveness. Before Philip Morris, he held executive roles at North American grocery retailer A&P, and Campbell Soup Company. He started his career with the Boston Consulting Group. 

Peter was born in Germany and attended the University in Karlsruhe, receiving an undergraduate degree in Information Technology and Industrial Engineering. Peter received his MBA, in Marketing and Finance, in the United States from Vanderbilt University. He has three children and lives between Paris, Berlin and New York City.

Mark Loomis

Mark Loomis was named President, The Estée Lauder Companies, Asia/Pacific in January, 2018. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the expansion and strategic growth of the Company’s portfolio of brands including the conceptualization and execution of the Company’s regional strategies. He reports to Cedric Prouvé, Group President of International for The Estée Lauder Companies.

Mr. Loomis began his 20-plus year career with The Estée Lauder Companies in 1996 and since then has held a variety of leadership roles. He first joined the Estée Lauder brand as Vice President Marketing, Travel Retail Worldwide, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of global marketing strategies for the brand. In 1999, he was appointed Vice President, Estée Lauder for Canada. In May 2001, he was named Senior Vice President/General Manager, Estée Lauder International; leading the development of the brand in Europe, Asia/Pacific and Latin America.  Mr. Loomis became President, Estée Lauder Companies Japan K.K. from June 2005 through March 2011.

Most recently, Mr. Loomis was the Senior Vice President, Asia/Pacific, overseeing the Japan, Australia, New-Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam, The Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia affiliates as well as our Retail Channel, Online, Innovation/Product Development/R&D and Trademark Protection & Market Security functions.

Mr. Loomis lives in Hong Kong with his wife and three daughters.

 

Daniel Rachmanis

Daniel Rachmanis is President, Latin America, The Estée Lauder Companies, a position he was appointed to in January 2016. Mr. Rachmanis is also a member of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Executive Leadership Team.

He has led the Company’s expansion in Latin America since 2009, when he was named Senior Vice President, General Manager, of the newly created region. In this role, he oversaw all operations from Mexico to Argentina of The Estée Lauder Companies' more than 25 brands including Estée Lauder, Clinique, M·A·C, Bobbi Brown, La Mer, and Aveda. Under his leadership, the Company has launched seven new brands and expanded into more than 30 second-tier cities across 17 markets in Latin America.

He joined The Estée Lauder Companies in November 2007 as Senior Vice President, International Business Development, where he was responsible for the fast and successful international rollout of the BeautyBank brands, as well as the acquisition and integration of Forest Essentials (India).

Previously, Mr. Rachmanis was Chief Executive Officer of Chemaid Laboratories, where he successfully restructured the Sales & Marketing and Research & Development capabilities to make that company a key player in the premium skin, body and hair care sector. Prior to that, he was President, Fine Fragrances, Americas, for Firmenich Inc., where he was responsible for the development of the fragrance business across South and North America.

Mr. Rachmanis’ international experience includes three years in Paris, France, as the Regional Director for Saint Gobain Group, where he managed the business strategies for the Perfumery and Pharmacy Glass Division. He was also the Export Director for Saint Gobain Group in São Paulo, Brazil, for five years and oversaw development in new markets such as Asia, Middle East and Latin America.

He has a Master's in Business Administration from the prestigious Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) business school in France and is fluent in French, Spanish, English and Portuguese. He lived for 13 years in Argentina and more than 15 years in Spain, France and Brazil before settling in the U.S. 18 years ago.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Worldfund and Council of the Americas.
