Celebrating Women’s History Month at The Estée Lauder Companies

Company Feature

For more than 80 years, The Estée Lauder Companies has been guided by the vision of our founder, Mrs. Estée Lauder, who believed that every woman deserves to feel beautiful and confident—a belief that helped shape an entire industry.

The vision of one entrepreneurial woman continues to define who we are: shaped by innovative women, serving women around the world, and committed to advancing progress for women and girls.

Today, we build on that legacy through a commitment to women’s and girls’ health, education, and entrepreneurship, expanding access to care, creating pathways for leadership, and supporting women in creating their own futures. That dedication spans more than 30 years of the Breast Cancer Campaign, a commitment of $50M in social investments to support women and girls by 2030, and partnerships that address the needs of our local communities.

Every March, Women’s History Month offers an opportunity to reflect on this legacy and recognize some of the ongoing work that continues to move progress forward. Across our company’s regions, brands, and teams, that commitment came to life again this year through impactful conversations and community-driven moments.

In the EUKEM region, leaders came together for a Women’s History Month fireside chat exploring the theme “What I Learned from Her,” with reflections on leadership, growth, and shared experiences.

Jo Malone London convened a select group of UK Parliamentarians for a breakfast highlighting the social impact work of Jo Malone London and The Estée Lauder Companies in recognition of Women’s History Month.

In honor of Women’s History Month, Estée Lauder partnered with Diane von Furstenberg on a limited-edition makeup and fragrance collaboration, grounded in a shared commitment to advancing women.

The Diane von Furstenberg x The WIE Suite “InCharge” Summit brought together founders, investors, and cultural leaders, including, from left to right, Misty Copeland, Dee Poku, Huma Abedin, Thelma Golden, and Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer, The Estée Lauder Companies.

The Estée Lauder Companies served as Title Sponsor of The Women’s Foundation International Women’s Day Luncheon in Hong Kong, where Daphne Choi, VP, HR, Asia-Pacific & Travel Retail Worldwide, delivered opening remarks to leaders and advocates across the region.

The Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) hosted a global fireside conversation with Dr. Elizabeth Comen, Associate Professor of Medicine & Co-Director of the Mignone’s Health Collaborative, NYU Langone, and author of All in Her Head, and Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Executive Sponsor of WLN, exploring women’s health and the importance of self-advocacy.

Where It All Began — and Where We’re Going

Mrs. Estée’s belief was simple: “You don’t get there by wishing for it, you get there by working for it. Today, that same mindset lives on in the women across our company who continue to create, lead, and redefine what’s possible.
